Job Description
Private Cloud Infrastructure Architecture Planning and Management
- Plan, research, design, build, deploy, and manage Private Cloud infrastructure architecture.
- Regularly monitor infrastructure performance and natural growth rates; prepare periodic reports on performance and capacity growth.
- Develop, propose, and issue infrastructure architecture standards for each asset group in alignment with overall IT architecture directions, regulatory requirements, and governing authorities.
- Evaluate, control, and approve infrastructure developments in compliance with approved architecture.
- Build and maintain an architecture design portfolio, continuously improving it to meet operational realities, technology trends, and business orientation.
- Communicate, train, and guide teams on infrastructure implementation according to approved architecture standards.
- Develop and issue processes and implementation guidelines to bring infrastructure systems/services into operation.
- Prepare, design, and obtain approvals for investment items aligned with issued infrastructure and overall IT architecture.
- Implement construction, configuration, acceptance testing, change evaluation, relocation, and deployment in accordance with approved designs.
- Operate and support systems during the Go‑Live phase to ensure timely issue resolution, documentation completion, and comprehensive performance evaluation of new or changed infrastructure.
- Report on deployment and investment effectiveness after the initial operational phase.
Infrastructure and Application Transformation Management
- Manage infrastructure and application transformation journeys.
- Continuously optimize and automate application migration activities across different infrastructure platforms.
Private Cloud Infrastructure Operations and Management
- Maintain and publish the catalog of approved infrastructure assets for operation.
- Update and enhance technical regulations, documentation, governance, and operational procedures under departmental management.
- Monitor and operate infrastructure systems.
- Record and handle abnormal events and incidents.
- Implement Business Continuity Planning (BCP) activities.
- Implement IT Disaster Recovery Planning (IT DRP) activities.
- Periodically assess and record production environment performance to identify trends, issues, and optimization opportunities.
- Research, propose, and implement infrastructure changes and improvements to optimize operations and prevent potential incidents.
- Perform periodic maintenance to ensure stable system operation, compliance, and vendor support coverage.
- Perform data backup and recovery to ensure information security and disaster recovery readiness for deployed information systems.
Job Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related IT disciplines.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in deploying IT solutions/systems or operating IT infrastructure.
Technical Knowledge
- Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure systems, virtualization platforms, and containers, including:
- AWS, Azure, GCP
- VMware, OpenStack
- Kubernetes (K8S), Platform9, Docker
- Knowledge of Microsoft and Linux system administration.
- Knowledge of hardware devices such as HPE, Cisco, Palo Alto.
- Strong understanding of cloud service models and offerings.
- Possession of Cloud certifications (Microsoft, Amazon AWS, Google Cloud, Cisco, etc.) is an advantage.
