IT - Technical Business Analyst
This role is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and translating business requirements into technical specifications to support system development, integration, and improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
Requirement Analysis & Documentation
- Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements from stakeholders
- Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications
- Create user stories, use cases, process flows, and data models
- Ensure requirements are complete, feasible, and aligned with business objectives
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with business users, product owners, developers, and QA teams
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and requirement clarification sessions
- Act as a point of contact between business and IT teams
Technical Support & Solution Design
- Work closely with development teams to design system solutions
- Provide input on system architecture, integrations, and data flow
- Support API specifications, system integration requirements, and database structures
- Validate technical solutions against business requirements
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Develop test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and validate results
- Ensure delivered solutions meet functional and technical requirements
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation
- Recommend system enhancements and improvements
- Support digital transformation initiatives
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain detailed documentation of requirements, designs, and processes
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field
Experience
- 3–7 years of experience in Business Analysis or Technical Analysis
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Knowledge of APIs, databases (SQL), and system integrations
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or similar
- Ability to read and understand technical architecture diagrams
Business & Analytical Skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking

- Understanding of business processes and workflow optimization
